VOLUNTEERING FOR SHOW CREW -

The Kelsey Theatre has 10 different Theatre Companies that use our stage and their needs vary. If you want to volunteer to work on a production please FOLLOW THE LINK TO FILL IN THE VOLUNTEER FORM. ONCE YOUR FORM IS RECEIVED IT WILL BE FORWARDED TO THE PRODUCTION COMPANIES.

USHER OPPORTUNITIES

Usher opportunities are open to all races, gender identities, sexual orientations, body types, ages and abilities.

USHER DUTIES INCLUDE:
  • Handing out Will-Call Tickets
  • Scanning Tickets at the Entrance
  • Assisting with seating
  • Helping to go through the theatre at the end of the show to make sure nothing was left behind. 
    • We have disposable gloves you can wear while working if you wish to use them. 
Usher vests will be washed after each use, please place used vest in the basket under the vest rack once you are done. 
DRESS CODE:
  • Dress code: Conservative Casual. You will be required to wear an Usher Vest while ushering.

NOTE:
  • Once signed up all you need to do is show up at the time you picked.
    • You MUST stay for the entire show and help us at the end.
  • Opening Night Receptions are for PAYING patrons but you can partake of the goodies once you finish cleaning the theatre.
  • NO Video Recording or Go-Pro's allowed in Theatre
  • If we are sold out you may be required to stand for the performance.
    • There are a limited number of "jump seats" available for ushers.

Deep in the heart of the Indian Jungle, Bagheera, the black panther, discovers a Man-Cub.  Only the wolves Akela and Raksha may save his life and raise him as their own.  But Shere Khan, the Great Tiger, has targeted the boy. Bagheera teaches the boy all he knows about the Jungle.  Baloo the lovable bear befriends Mowgli and saves him from the fearsome grasp of Kaa, the Python, and the wild Monkey-People.  But who can save him from Shere Kahn?
